My parents are Albert and Mary Thomas.
I was born out on the land in the winter where my parents were living,
on the Black River Trapline.
I learned to sew from my grandmother Rosalie
Joseph of Fort Yukon, she is 98 years old. I have been sewing for over
25 years now. I just love to sew, and I love to try new things with my skin
and beads.
The wilderness and my subsistence way of
life are what I love about living in my small village.
